STRUXC was hired by the City of Evanston and Central Rug and Floor to renovate the gym at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center. The project included removing and replacing the wooden gym floor system, adding waterproofing, installing a vented wall base, and painting new game lines. Additionally, the floor slab was repaired at the locations of the volleyball sleeves. The renovation also involved replacing miscellaneous gym equipment such as bleachers, wall pads, and backboard pads. Furthermore, a new rubber floor was installed on the existing stairs and landing, the structural arches were refinished, and the entire gym was repainted.
